PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences Athletics Department is proud to announce that USciences' 151 student-athletes achieved a 3.34 cumulative GPA for the Fall 2018 semester, with all 12 teams earning over a 3.0 GPA.
Over 60 percent of the department (91 student-athletes) earned Dean's List Honors, with nearly 80 percent (120) achieving at least a 3.0 GPA.
The following 15 achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA:
Karla Miletic (women's tennis), Thomas Webster (baseball), Michael Fox (men's basketball), Sahas Chandragiri (golf and men's tennis), Alyx McKiernan (women's basketball), Colleen Walsh (women's basketball), Shane Bishop (women's cross country), Zoe Timothy (women's cross country and track and field), Olivia DeLorenzo (women's cross country), Evangelina Olivera (softball), Lauren Ordemann (softball), Brittany Rickard (softball), Danielle Taylor (volleyball), Brooke Witmer (volleyball) and Lucas Burkardt (men's track and field).
Women's cross country posted the highest team GPA at 3.64, followed closely by men's tennis (3.61), women's basketball (3.58), and softball (3.53).
Notably, women's tennis (3.43) and men's basketball (3.41) also had team GPA's above the Dean's List threshold of 3.4.
