Habib joined the University of the Sciences athletic department as a graduate assistant strength coach prior to the 2016-17 school year. While at USciences, he will be pursuing a Doctoral of Physical Therapy.
Having spent many years working as a personal trainer and now having shifted his focus to the strength and conditioning aspect for the Devils, Habib is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and Olympic weightlifting performance coach.
“To develop an athlete we must first develop character. From there, we can work on performance," said Habib on the position. "I want to physically and mentally change athletes to help them achieve optimal performance. If you come to sessions and give me all of your effort, success will be guaranteed to follow.”
Habib is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Sports Studies in 2013.
