Golf Lands Three on CACC All-Academic Team

2018 CACC Men's Golf All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three members of the University of the Sciences golf team – Austin Bythrow, Sahas Chandragiri and Mitchel Storb – earned a place on the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Golf All-Academic Team, released by the league offices on Wednesday. 

USciences' three honorees were the second most amongst the nine teams. 

For Storb, the junior has now received the honor in both of the years in which he has been eligible. 

In order to qualify for the CACC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term, have been enrolled as a full-time student at the member institution for a minimum of two semesters, have been a second year student-athlete at the member institution, and must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.

Notably, Chandragiri was a CACC All-Academic Team honoree in the sport of tennis in the spring. 

For Bythrow, the accolade is his first in his first year of eligibility.
