Staiano and Storb Post Top-Three Finishes in Tri-Match with Jefferson and Penn State Abington

PHILADELPHIA – Austin Staiano and Mitchel Storb posted top-three finishes in a tri-match with Jefferson and Penn State Abington at the ACE Club on Wednesday. 

The pair shot respective rounds of 81 and 82 to finish second and tied for third in the field of 19, behind only the medalist round of 79. 

Andy Ring also finished in the top-half of the field, tying for eighth after carding an 87.

Austin Bythrow fell one stroke shy of his collegiate-best round with a 95, while Mark Knightly rounded out the day with a 102. 

All three teams finished within five strokes of one another, with USciences' team-total of 345 five shots behind Jefferson's 340.  

University of the Sciences closes out its 2018-19 season next Tuesday, April 16 at the Jefferson Invitational, also hosted at the ACE Club.
