PHILADELPHIA – University of the Sciences men's basketball sophomore Michael Fox was presented the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Top XVI Award at the CACC Basketball Awards Banquet on Friday evening.
The Top XVI Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the CACC championships. In order to be considered, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletics standing as well as a member of the active roster.
Fox, a pharmacy major, has a near-perfect GPA of 3.967 after earning a perfect 4.0 for the fourth time in the Fall 2017 semester. He has been named to the Dean's List in each of his seven semesters at USciences.
A two-time CACC All-Academic Team member, he has also received the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award twice.
On the court this season, Fox appeared in 19 games for the Devils. He posted career-highs of four rebounds and three points in USciences' home-opener, an overtime triumph over Lincoln on Nov. 19.
