Novak and Nguyen win in Men’s Tennis’ Match at Jefferson on Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA – Borna Novak and Nathan Nguyen won together in doubles play as the University of the Sciences men's tennis team lost at Jefferson on Wednesday afternoon.

The duo improved to 7-7 on the season with an 8-6 triumph at the first flight. 

Novak also nearly won his singles match, falling in three set at the first flight after taking the first set 6-4. He would go on to narrowly drop the second, 5-7, before falling in the tiebreaker by another close score, 7-10.

Evan Halperin won the second-most games for USciences, taking four in his No. 6 singles match.

University of the Sciences continues its busy schedule with its third Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match in four days when it travels to Post for a 3 p.m. start tomorrow.
