Men’s Tennis Places Four on CACC All-Academic Team

2018 CACC Men's Tennis All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Four members of the University of the Sciences men's tennis team were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team on Wednesday. 

The four honorees were one shy of a league-high. 

Juniors Evan Halperin, Nathan Nguyen and Borna Novak each made their second appearance on the Team, while sophomore Sahas Chandragiri made his first. 

Notably, Novak's 3.95 grade point average (GPA) at the end of the Fall 2017 Semester was the highest amongst the 16 members of the Team.

In order to qualify for the CACC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term, have been enrolled as a full-time student at the member institution for a minimum of two semesters, have been at least a second year student-athlete at the member institution, and have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
