EWING, N.J. – Jack Kosiorowski and the Devils' No. 2 doubles pairing won in University of the Sciences men's tennis' spring-opening 7-2 setback at The College of New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.
Kosiorowski defeated his second flight opponent 10-8 in a super tiebreaker, after the two had split the first two sets 6-3, 1-6, to tie fellow freshman Borna Markusic for the team lead with four singles victories this season.
Markusic was part of the USciences doubles pairing that won, as he partnered with Sahas Chandragiri for the first time this season for an 8-4 triumph. The two are now tied with Borna Novak for the team lead with four doubles wins on the campaign.
Notably, Markusic was also second on the team behind Kosiorowski, winning 10 games in his No. 1 single match.
