Miletic Voted All-CACC First Team for Third Straight Year

PHILADELPHIA – Two-time defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year Karla Miletic has been voted All-CACC First Team for the third year in a row, the league offices announced on Tuesday morning.

The junior joins Victoria Quang as the only Devil in program history to be earn All-CACC honors three times. That comes on top of being just one of just two student-athletes in program history to be voted First Team All-CACC (Amanda Bedway, 2007-08).

Miletic advanced to the Round of 16 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Championships for a third consecutive year in September, while also partnering with Abbygail Gamarnik for a second straight Quarterfinal appearance in the doubles draw.

She ended the year 3-3 in CACC play at No. 1 singles, with all three losses coming against fellow All-CACC First Team members. Two of those three came in three sets, including 10-12 in a super tiebreaker to CACC Player of the Year Lotte Lesscher Y Post.

Miletic also has three CACC doubles victories, including going 3-2 with Gamarnik. The duo is 10-4 together this season, with a 6-1 mark in tournament play.

University of the Sciences women's tennis, a day after tying last year's program record for single-season CACC victories, hosts Post in the First Round of the CACC Tournament later today at 5:30 p.m.
