PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences women's volleyball team closed out its non-conference schedule by sweeping Lincoln (25-14, 25-5, 25-13) on Thursday night at Bobby Morgan Arena.

With its seventh overall victory, USciences surpassed the six wins it achieved in both 2016 and 2017.

With match-highs of two blocks and 29 assists, a couple of Devils moved into ninth in program history in respective categories on the night. Senior Brooke Witmer ended the night with 211 career blocks, while freshman Caelin Jaskot has 668 career assists.

Notably, Jaskot also moved into eighth in the program's single-season annals with that assist total.

Witmer also led all players with nine kills on .372 hitting, part of a performance in which the Devils swung .263 as a team.

Also with nine kills, as well as a match-high four service aces, was Sarah Miller.

Elizabeth Checca hit .545 with seven kills, Bianca Galis had six on .250 hitting, and Danielle Taylor added a career-best five on .312 hitting.

Also with two blocks was McKayla Kelly, while Cassandra Moy had 10 digs, one ahead of Rhiannon Comia for a match-high.

University of the Sciences returns to the road for the first time in nearly three weeks when it travels to Bloomfield for a 12 p.m. match on Saturday.
