AMHERST, N.Y. – The University of the Sciences women's cross country team closed out its season at the NCAA East Region Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at Amherst Audubon Golf Course.
Sophomore Elizabeth Sauers' 64th place finish in the field of 173 was the best in the program since Brianna Ligotski placed 62nd at the 2014 Regionals. It was also an 18-place improvement from her 82nd place finish as a freshman a year ago.
