The University of the Sciences Department of Athletics announced the hiring of Brian Hannah as athletic trainer and head strength and conditioning coach prior to the 2019-20 year.
Hannah arrived at USciences after serving as the head athletic trainer at Harry S. Truman High School for two and a half years.
He had also served as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer for the Temple University football program for the previous three seasons, and he was an athletic training intern for the Philadelphia Eagles during the summer of 2016.
Hannah is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as both a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and he is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
A 2016 graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, he served as a senior student athletic trainer during his senior year.
While at Rowan, Hannah assisted in the publication of “A Case of a Catastrophic Knee Injury in a College Football Player,” which was featured in the Journal of Athletic Training.
He went on to receive his Master of Science in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention and Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from California (PA).
