NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The University of the Sciences baseball team has been voted sixth in the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball South Division Preseason Coaches Poll, released on Monday.

Defending CACC Tournament champion Wilmington is atop the Southern Division's poll having received eight of a possible 12 first-place votes.

Defending CACC regular season champion Felician is second with three top-votes, while fifth-place Jefferson garnered the remaining one.

Chestnut Hill and Goldey-Beacom are third and fourth, respectively, representing the two teams the coaches think will join Wilmington and Felician in the CACC Tournament.

The top four teams from each division advance to the CACC Tournament, which begins with a single-elimination Quarterfinals round hosted by the higher seed on May 4.

The four winners from the Quarterfinals move on to a double-elimination four-team bracket, hosted by Post on May 9-11.
