Markusic Wins Twice in Men’s Tennis’ Home Finale

PHILADELPHIA – Borna Markusic won twice on the afternoon, as the University of the Sciences men's tennis team closed out its first season at its new home, the Hamlin Center, with a 6-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss to Post on Saturday afternoon. 

Markusic and Sahas Chandragiri defeated their first flight opponents 7-5 for their third straight win together. 

Markusic is now atop the team with eight doubles wins, while Chandragiri is now tied for second with seven. 

Markusic then won 6-4, 6-0 in at No. 1 singles, his team-leading ninth singles victory of the year.

Jack Kosiorowski's second flight singles match was the only one to go three sets, where the freshman would fall 3-6. 

University of Sciences closes out its season this Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. match at Jefferson.
