Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams for Second Straight Year

NEW ORLEANS – Both the University of the Sciences men's and women's track and field teams have been honored as All-Academic Teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for a second straight year.

All-Academic Teams are those that accumulated a 3.00 team grade point average (GPA) for the 2018-19 academic year. 

The USciences women produced a 3.39 team GPA in 2018-19, while the men finished with a 3.25.  

Multiple student-athletes from both teams earned Dean's List Honors, with Chloe Georges, Sophie HockranGabrielle Moss, Zoe Timothy, Christina Holmes, Lucas Burkhardt, Christopher Cardace, Matthew Connolly, Perry Giambuzzi, William Hallinan, Isaac Hoskins, Joseph San Filippo, Matthew Weiner and Dylan Zuch all receiving the accolade for both the fall and spring semesters, and Ryan Ward receiving it once.
