PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences women's volleyball team has unveiled its 2019 schedule.
The campaign will commence on Saturday, Sept. 7 with two matches at Bloomfield, against both the Bears and Stonehill.
After a midweek trip to West Chester, University of the Sciences will travel to Frostburg State for three matches on Sept. 13-14.
USciences' home and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 18, when the Devils welcome Chestnut Hill to Bobby Morgan Arena.
University of the Sciences then hosts Millersville and Mercy for a tri-match on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The Devils also host Saint Rose in non-conference play on Friday, Oct. 4.
Notable home CACC contests include on Tuesday, Oct. 22, when USciences takes on defending CACC champion and East Region finalist Holy Family.
The Devils' regular season finale takes place on Saturday, Nov. 16 against Nyack.
University of the Sciences returns its top-two leaders in kills per set in senior Sarah Miller (2.73) and sophomore Bianca Galis (2.07).
Miller also led the Devils with .35 service aces per set.
USciences also returns its primary setter in sophomore Caelin Jaskot, whose 7.99 assists per set ranked sixth in the CACC last year.
Jaskot was also second on the team with 2.48 digs per set, and with redshirt-sophomore Danielle Taylor (2.39 digs per set) returning the Devils also have two of their top-three performers in that category back.
