Volleyball Matches Longest Win Streak Since 2015 with Sweep of Lincoln

PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences volleyball team won its third straight match with a sweep (25-11, 25-12, 25-14) of Lincoln on Thursday evening, matching the longest win-streak in the program since the Devils won their final three matches of the 2015 season.  

USciences hit .333 on the evening, its highest attack percentage since hitting a program-record (25-point era) .389 in a sweep of Nyack on Nov. 5, 2015. 

Freshman Tori Wright led the way with a season-best 13 kills on .385 hitting. 

Fellow freshman Kerrigan Clem added six kills on .267 hitting, while senior Sarah Miler (.667 hitting) and freshman Jade Bryant (.556) each added five. 

Sophomore Caelin Jaskot and freshman Angeli Roman Medina had 15 (match-high) and 14 assists, respectively, with Medina adding a match-high three aces. 

Wright, Clem, Bryant and freshman Lauren Lim all added two aces, as University of the set a new season-best with 13. 

Sophomore Danielle Taylor led all players with eight digs. 

USciences hosts a tri-match on Saturday, with the Devils set to take on Millersville at 11 a.m. and Mercy at 3 p.m.
