Sangu joined the volleyball and women’s track and field coaching staffs as a graduate assistant prior to the 2018-19 seasons, after completing a successful career as a student-athlete at University of the Sciences.
Sangu appeared in 76 matches for the USciences volleyball program. She currently holds the program record for block assists in a 25-point format match with eight, which she accomplished at Concordia on Oct. 14, 2017.
She ranks sixth in program history with 134 career block assists, eighth with 0.76 blocks per set and 10th with 193 career blocks. Her 54 block assists in 2015 are tied for the fourth-most in the program’s single season annals.
Sangu also was part of the inaugural track and field team at University of the Sciences in 2018. She was part of the 4x100m relay team that competed at the historic Penn Relays and also a member of the 4x100m relay team that earned points at the program’s first-ever CACC Championship.
Sangu graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with a minor in Exercise Science and Wellness Management. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therpay program.
