Women’s Cross Country Returns to Action at Delaware Invitational

NEWARK, Del. – The University of the Sciences women's cross country team returned from a three week break to run at the Delaware Invitational held at White Clay Creek State Park on Saturday morning. 

Senior Elizabeth Sauers paced the Devils, navigating the 6K course in 27:27.0. 

Fellow senior Olivia DeLorenzo was the second Devil to cross, clocking in at 28:47.4. 

Graduate Elkanah Linder (29:24.1) and freshmen Katie Benincasa (29:24.1) and Kimberly Powers (31:14.5) all ran their first collegiate 6K. 

Notably, Lauren Kaminski made her collegiate debut with a time of 31:09.5.   

University of the Sciences takes next weekend off before returning to action at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial held at Belmont Plateau at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
